    > The exact construction date of the original temple is not known. It is believed to be during the Un Dynasty, which lasted from 1279 to 1308.
    > 1627 - The current temple is completed.
    > July 3, 1844 - This is the location where the first commercial treaty was signed between China and the United States. The document was signed by Tai Yeng for the Chinese and by Caleb Cushing for the United States.
